Emergency Help in Sri Lanka – Where help is needed!
In Sri Lanka, people repeatedly find themselves in need – whether due to natural disasters, extreme poverty, or the lack of basic educational materials and medical care. Many children cannot afford schoolbooks and notebooks, and floods or storms regularly destroy livelihoods. In such times of crisis, every bit of help counts to give affected families a new perspective.
Current Emergency: The Floods of 2024
A devastating storm with massive flooding has severely impacted large parts of Sri Lanka.
Families have lost their homes, fields have been destroyed, villages flooded, and water supplies cut off.
Children are left without school materials; education often falls behind because schools are damaged and supplies are missing.
Shortages of blood donations – especially in rural areas, where lifesaving blood reserves for emergencies are lacking.
This is where our crisis aid comes in – to provide fast and targeted help!
Our Mission: Direct help where it is needed most!
Educational support for children
Many families cannot afford schoolbooks, notebooks, or uniforms. We provide disadvantaged students with the materials they need so they can continue learning – despite financial hardship or disasters.
Blood donations save lives
Regular blood donation drives in rural regions help improve medical care. A secure blood supply is essential for accident victims, surgeries, and critically ill patients.
Rapid disaster relief
During floods, storms, or other natural disasters, we deliver emergency packages with food, clean drinking water, clothing, and medical care. In addition, we assist with rebuilding homes and schools.
Rebuilding schools
After disasters or in situations of extreme poverty, we support schools with new materials, furniture, and infrastructure so that classes can continue quickly.
